Regional Center Partnerships
Over the last 30 years we have developed strong working relationships with the individuals at various Southern California Regional Centers. Regional Centers are nonprofit private corporations that contract with the Department of Developmental Services to coordinate services and supports for individuals with developmental disabilities. There are 21 Regional Centers in the state. The Regional Center offices are located throughout California and provide a local resource to help access the many services available to individuals and their families. The MDH Network office is located in Whittier, California. The MDH Network creates partnerships and provides services to various Regional Centers in the Southern California area. Referrals for services can be made from the individual's primary Regional Center or from individuals participating in the Self-Determination program.
Individuals with developmental disabilities that have been determined to be eligible by Regional Center can be referred to receive services. Regional Center staff work with eligible individuals to develop an Individual Program Plan (IPP), which includes recommendations for immediate and future community based service options.
